Frequently asked questions
The things we are asked most, gathered in one place. If something is missing, send it to us and it will end up here.
General
Is a doctor even allowed to advertise in Greece or Cyprus?
Yes, within limits. The Court of Justice of the European Union held in Vanderborght (C-339/15) that a general and absolute ban on advertising healthcare services is incompatible with EU law. What each professional body regulates is the content and the form: what you may say, how you may say it, what you may show. That is exactly where we work.
Will you get me in trouble with my professional body?
The opposite. Compliance review comes before the campaign. We do not solicit patient testimonials, we do not publish before/after images where they are prohibited, and we never write “the best” or “number one”. Every creative is reviewed before publication.
How do I know you understand marketing and not just medicine?
Because we did it on ourselves first: our own healthcare businesses, real paid budgets, and a measured cost per new appointment. Evidence, not promises.
What does it cost?
You start with a compliance and marketing review at €300, credited in full if you go ahead. After that, a monthly engagement priced against your plan. No long-term contract.
Do you work in both Greece and Cyprus?
Both, with separate knowledge of each country’s framework and each professional body. The site is published in 10 languages because both markets have a large number of foreign-language practitioners.
Rules & compliance
Can I publish before/after photographs?
It depends on the country, the body and the procedure itself. In several cases — particularly invasive aesthetic procedures — they are expressly prohibited. Even where permitted, conditions apply: a genuine case, identical shooting conditions, written consent, no retouching. Our rule is simple: if it is not clearly permitted, it does not go out.
Can I ask patients for reviews?
Making it easy for a satisfied patient to leave a review is usually acceptable. Asking for specific content, offering anything in return, or filtering who gets asked is not — and in many jurisdictions it also breaches the platform’s own rules.
Are discounts and offers allowed?
On clinical procedures, as a rule no: they are treated as pushing a patient towards a decision on price rather than need. There are exceptions for non-clinical services and for some professions. It is one of the first things we check.
What is the actual risk if something is wrong?
Depending on severity: a warning, disciplinary proceedings, a fine, and for data protection issues a penalty from the supervisory authority. The most common practical cost, though, is different — the campaign comes down mid-flight and the budget is wasted.
Services
Can I take just one service?
Yes. Many clients start with a compliance review or a website alone. A monthly engagement makes sense when you want advertising and content running continuously, but it is not a precondition.
Will you work with my existing website?
If it can carry decent speed and proper measurement, yes — we improve it. If it is built in a way that costs you appointments every day, we will say so directly and show you the difference in numbers.
Who owns the advertising accounts?
You do, always. Meta and Google accounts are opened in your name and stay yours. If we ever stop working together you lose neither history nor data.
Would you work with my competitor in the same town?
Not if we have agreed field and territory exclusivity. It is a premium term precisely because it costs us: we commit not to take on another practitioner in the same specialty and area while we work together.
My specialty is not on the list. Would you take me on?
Probably yes. The test is not the list, it is whether we can map your professional body’s advertising framework with confidence. If we cannot, we will tell you instead of experimenting on you.
Pricing & engagement
Why is there no price for the monthly engagement?
Because it would be a lie. A single physiotherapist running one campaign and a five-specialty clinic in two languages across three locations do not cost the same. You get a firm price with your plan, before you commit to anything.
Is the advertising budget included?
No. What you spend on Meta and Google goes directly to them from your own account. We charge for our work. That way you can see exactly where every euro goes.
Is there a minimum term?
No long-term contract. We do ask for a realistic horizon: SEO and content do not show their worth in three weeks, and we will tell you that before we start rather than let you discover it afterwards.
